Weird Weather

So I guess this is what is called the “Pineapple Express“–weather straight from Hawaii. It was warm and very muggy today and the rain keeps coming down in tropical sheets.

Oh, and last night we had an earthquake. I felt it from the upstairs office. At first I thought Nate was rearranging furniture downstairs but then it kept tremoring and I realized what was going on. No damage that we’re aware of.

I guess this is the kind of weather I expected when I moved to Portland. I’ve been pleasantly surprised that this is NOT the norm.

  1. Deb,

Check and see if that video at my site is working now. It just was when I checked it.

  2. Tropical? What’s that?
    Oh yeah, sorry.
Nothing tropical about the desert.(not to be confused with dessert). πŸ™‚
Don’t get much rain except in the monsoons. πŸ™‚
