Angelo and Anna’s Wedding
Last weekend we made a quick trip to central California for Nate’s cousin Angelo’s wedding. Having grown up in the Midwest, when I think of California I think of palm trees and movie stars. Not so the agricultural land north of Sacramento. It felt much more Grapes of Wrath than Hollywood.
The wedding was chilly but our hearts were warm for this beautiful and gifted couple. The Kansas boy and the California girl met while serving in Sudan, vacationed in Paris, and have worked together in Haiti. We’re excited to see what adventures lie ahead for Angelo and Anna.
Although it was a quick trip we had some time to meander through the hills and valley around little towns like Williams, Arbuckle and Winters as well as Davis and Sacramento. More pictures reside on Flickr.
